This weekend, Des Moines Airport hosts a B-29 Superfortress, one of only two still flying WWII planes, for public flights and tour. The B-29, used to drop atomic bombs on Japan, is part of the Commemorative Air Force's mission to educate, inspire, and honor through flight and living history experiences. Final flights are scheduled for 9:30am and 10:30am on Sunday.
