Cincinnati Zoo adopts rescued red fox, Scamper, as an ambassador animal for wildlife education.

The Cincinnati Zoo has adopted a rescued red fox, initially found abandoned in a box at an Ohio apartment complex, to serve as an ambassador animal for its species. Named Scamper or Scamp, the fox will be used to educate the public on preserving wildlife and the unsuitability of keeping wild and exotic animals as pets. The zoo will announce Scamper's public debut via social media once he's ready for it.
