28-year-old Alexander Ross from Middlesbrough was charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine after police found 5kg of drugs worth over £400,000 in his car on the M6 near Penrith. A second 28-year-old man from Northallerton was arrested on suspicion of Class A drug supply and released on bail. Ross is due in North Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
