Vestavia Hills School Resource Officer hit by car, sustains non-life-threatening injuries.

A Vestavia Hills police officer, working as a School Resource Officer, was hit by a car on Friday morning near Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park while directing traffic after a professional development event. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
