Police in Northland, NZ are investigating the "unexplained" death of a woman found on a beach between Omamari and Aranga, 35km NW of Dargaville. Her vehicle was discovered at Omamari Beach. Forensic examinations are underway, her body has been sent to Auckland for a post-mortem. The woman was reported missing after failing to return home; she was last seen wearing a green puffer jacket between 8pm 01 Aug and 10am 02 Aug.
