Oxfordshire County Council's £12m project transforms Bicester's Banbury Road roundabout into a signalised junction, improving safety, vehicle capacity, and adding better pavements, cycle paths, and crossings. The southern side of Banbury Road closed on July 22, planned to reopen in late October. The project is funded by central government, with £5.5m from MoHCLG and an additional £5.9m secured from the Growth Deal.
