New England Patriots sign Diesch and Thomas, release Fenwick and Wheatley Jr.

The New England Patriots have signed tackle Kellen Diesch and safety A.J. Thomas, while releasing running back Deshaun Fenwick and tackle Tyrone Wheatley Jr. Diesch, previously on the Miami Dolphins' practice squad, and Thomas, from the UFL's Birmingham Stallions, aim to provide depth to the Patriots. Fenwick and Wheatley Jr. were waived for roster changes, with the hopes of strengthening the tackle position.
