Kuwait's Deputy PM mandates faceprint or fingerprint verification for employee attendance.

Kuwait's Deputy PM Sherida Al-Muasherji has issued a decision requiring faceprints to verify employee attendance and presence during official working hours. Part of Decision No. 6 (2024), it adds Article No. 10 bis to Civil Service Council Decision No. 41 of 2006. Employers can also use fingerprint systems, and employees must provide a fingerprint within 60 mins after expiry of two hours from the start of their shift.
