Jacksonville residents prepare for potential tropical storm by securing homes and businesses.
Jacksonville residents are not overly concerned about the possible tropical wave and potential tropical storm, but are taking precautions by preparing with sandbags, food, water and extra charging ports in case of power outages. Businesses in San Marco are also preparing for heavy rain, clearing drains and bringing in sandbags. The city is advising residents to be prepared by knowing their homes' flood risk zones and establishing a higher ground location in case of flash floods.
