Disney+'s "Percy Jackson" series has started filming its second season earlier than initially planned, according to director and executive producer James Bobin. The first season, which launched in December 2023, starred Walker Scobell as the titular character, Percy Jackson, who discovers he is the son of Greek god Poseidon. The second season, which will adapt Rick Riordan's "The Sea of Monsters," is set to premiere in the fall and will see the return of Scobell in his role.
