CBI registers FIR on Aadhaar card forgery racket in Rajasthan: A major Aadhaar card forgery racket in Rajasthan, allegedly producing fake cards with forged documents and fingerprints for Rs 25,000, has been registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Three individuals have been booked in connection with the case, following a complaint filed by a programmer from the Department of Information Technology and Communication. The matter was forwarded to the CBI by the Department of Personnel and Training on July 30, after the Rajasthan government transferred the case to the central probe agency on July 9.
