Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh is attempting to resolve ongoing student protests by inviting agitating students to her official residence, Ganabhaban, for dialogue. She assured that the government wants no conflict and has asked for the release of detained students. PM Hasina also announced the cancellation of the Prottoy universal pension scheme for universities and state-owned organizations.
