5-year-old cheetah Cleo arrives at Edinburgh Zoo, first in 24 years, and RZSS plans to introduce another.
Edinburgh Zoo welcomes first cheetah in 24 years, a 5-year-old named Cleo from Fota Wildlife Park in Ireland. Vulnerable in the wild, Cleo is the first cheetah at the zoo since 1997 and the RZSS plans to introduce another cheetah to live with her. In celebration of Cleo's arrival, the RZSS launched a prize draw campaign offering one winner the chance to meet Cleo and feed other animals at the zoo. Proceeds from the competition support the zoo's conservation efforts for the endangered species.
