Yagbonwura, King of the Gonja kingdom, has lifted a ban on Damongo MP and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, allowing him to visit palaces in Gonjaland. The ban was rescinded after a crucial government intervention led by Chieftaincy Minister Stephen Asamoa Boateng. Jinapor had been barred due to accusations of undermining traditional authority and disrespecting the Gonja kingdom.
