6 people, including 4 children, were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 14 in Winston County, Mississippi on August 1. A 2013 Kia Rio and a 2013 Nissan Maxima collided, resulting in the deaths of both drivers, Sara L. Batchelor and Laqerious R. Brown, as well as Batchelor's four passengers. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
