29 NS and 5 PEI firefighters depart Halifax on Aug 4 to aid Jasper, AB wildfires, marking 3rd NS and 2nd PEI deployment.

29 firefighters from Nova Scotia and 5 from Prince Edward Island are scheduled to depart Halifax on August 4th to aid in combating wildfires in Jasper, Alberta. This is the third team from Nova Scotia and the second deployment for P.E.I. This assistance is facilitated by manageable fire conditions in both Maritime provinces.
