Norwegian renewable energy firm Scatec sells partial ownership in South African solar plants to Greenstreet 1, consolidating portfolio and reallocating capital.

Norwegian renewable energy firm Scatec sells part of its ownership in three South African solar power plants to Greenstreet 1 Proprietary Limited, a subsidiary of Stanlib Infrastructure Fund II. The deal reduces Scatec's stake in Kalkbult from 46% to 13% and in Linde and Dreunberg from 44% to 12%. The transaction is part of Scatec's strategy to consolidate its portfolio by divesting assets in non-core markets and reallocating capital to new renewable energy investments.
