Miami QB Cam Ward, a returning AP second-team All-American, has been selected as the preseason pick for Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player of the Year. Miami led all teams with five players on the preseason all-ACC team, followed by Florida State with four and Clemson with three. Reigning champion Florida State was announced as the preseason ACC favorite.
