Four individuals were arrested in Abuja for attempting to set fire to a police container compartment at the Nyanya checkpoint during protests. Contrary to reports that the Nyanya Police Division was burnt down, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command clarified that only the container compartment was set ablaze, along with an attempt to vandalize the Tipper garage police post. The FCT Commissioner of Police warned that any violent protester caught destroying public property would face legal consequences.
