Gun Gale Online, a spin-off series set in the Sword Art Online universe, has confirmed a release date for its second season. Returning after a six-year hiatus, the anime will premiere on October 4, 2024, with A-1 Pictures taking over production from Studio 3Hz. The second season will follow the character Karen Kohiruimaki in a Call of Duty-like digital world, with streaming and simulcast details yet to be announced.
