Former NSYNC member Lance Bass corrected his Type 2 diabetes diagnosis to Type 1.5 (LADA).

Former NSYNC member Lance Bass has revealed he was misdiagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and actually has Type 1.5 (LADA), a form of diabetes that shares similarities with Type 1 and begins in adulthood. LADA is often diagnosed incorrectly in patients over 30 who are lean and physically active, as they may initially display symptoms similar to Type 2 diabetes. Bass discovered the discrepancy in his diagnosis after experiencing difficulties in controlling his glucose levels despite making changes to his diet, medication, and workout routine.
