Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes has launched the VELYS™ SPINE, its first active spine robotics and navigation platform, designed for planning and instrumenting spinal fusion procedures. The dual-use system, cleared by the FDA, offers customizable experiences with pathology-specific workflows and active robotics, enabling tailored surgical guidance for surgeons. It will integrate with DePuy Synthes Spine products and be commercially available in H1 2025.
