Coinbase, the largest US crypto exchange, has denied allegations by critic Molly White that it violated US federal campaign laws by donating $25M to PAC Fairshake. Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal stated that the company is not a federal contractor, thus not bound by the laws prohibiting such donations. Grewal dismissed the claims as "misinformation."
