Lin-Manuel Miranda, known for "Hamilton", is releasing a concept album called "Warriors" on Oct 18th, inspired by the 1979 cult film of the same name. The album, featuring 26 songs, will be released on Atlantic Records and produced by Grammy winners Nas (exec producer) and Mike Elizondo. The star-studded cast will be announced soon. The musical adaptation follows a New York City gang's journey after being falsely accused of a high-profile murder. Miranda and Davis have been working on the project for three years.
