LEAP Community Store, funded by a $2.5m grant, opened in Roanoke's West End neighborhood. The store offers fresh local produce, dairy, meat, grains, and bread, sourced within 100-300 miles. Operating on Wed-Fri, it accepts various payments, offers a 50% discount for SNAP/Medicaid/WIC customers, and is part of LEAP's weekly farmers market. The LEAP Hub building includes a warehouse, food processing, and a community room.
