Kenya culls a million invasive Indian house crows to protect wildlife and ecological balance.

Kenya is culling a million invasive Indian house crows due to their widespread disruption, including preying on wildlife, raiding tourist areas, and attacking poultry farms. The birds, known as "kunguru" or "kurabu," have no natural predators and have reduced the number of small indigenous birds. The Kenyan Wildlife Service is using the avian poison Starlicide, which does not affect other species, to poison the crows and protect native species and ensure ecological balance.
