Irish manager awarded €45k for sexual harassment by senior female colleague, violating Employment Equality Act.

A manager in Ireland has been awarded €45,000 for sexual harassment by a senior female colleague over a prolonged period. The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found the pub group's group operations manager had faced gender discrimination in violation of the Employment Equality Act. The WRC dismissed claims of constructive dismissal and victimization, but found that the manager's dignity was violated and the environment was intimidating, hostile, degrading, and humiliating.
