On July 30th, Harbor Springs Airport in Michigan received a bomb threat that claimed bombs would be flown to the airport, but the Emmet County Sheriff's Office concluded the threat was not credible after investigating. Authorities also noted a similar bomb threat made previously on Mackinac Island, which was also deemed not credible. The FBI and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) were contacted for assistance in the investigation.
