China tightens export restrictions on drones and drone parts with potential military use, including infrared thermal-imaging devices, target-indicating lasers, and high-precision inertial-measurement equipment. The country's Ministry of Commerce also removes temporary restrictions on certain consumer-grade drones. The new measures, effective September 1, prohibit the export of civilian drones for use in weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, or military purposes, and are aimed at safeguarding global industrial and supply chain security.
