Beverly Beach State Park, Oregon, reopened on August 1 following an 11-month closure for a $50m renovation project. The park's improvements include moving overhead power lines underground, replacing aging waterlines, and removing hazard trees. The Oregon State Legislature's GO Bond investment funded these upgrades. Some campsites have less shade due to tree removal, but native trees and shrubs will be planted to promote long-term tree health and resilience.
