Sen. Justine Wadsack was charged with excessive speeding and failure to produce proof of insurance after being pulled over in Tucson in March. The charges were filed after legislative immunity ended in June. Wadsack previously claimed the charges were "political persecution" and had refused to sign the criminal citation while the Legislature was in session. She is set to appear in Tucson City Court on August 21.
