PPC Renewables, a Greek energy group subsidiary, has started construction of a 140 MW wind power plant in Deleni, Vaslui County, Romania. The project, set to be completed by 2025, will consist of 23 GE Vernova 6.1 MW turbines and aims to contribute to Romania's renewable energy goals. This marks PPC Renewables' expansion into the Romanian market for renewable energy and will increase the company's installed capacity in Romania to approximately 850 MW.
