The Glen Turner Scholarship, honoring an environmental officer killed in 2014, has been extended for 10 more years at the University of Newcastle. The scholarship, which supports gifted and disadvantaged students in environmental conservation studies, now receives doubled annual funding of $20,000. Over the next decade, ten students will receive financial assistance for tuition, study materials, and living expenses.
