The Diamondbacks and Nationals completed a trade, sending right-handed reliever Dylan Floro to Arizona and receiving corner infielder Andres Chaparro from the D-backs. Floro has a 3.11 ERA since becoming a big league reliever in 2018. The Nationals are already in Arizona for a three-game series against the Diamondbacks, and Washington's players, including Floro, found out about the trade after the deadline passed.
