Maharashtra's Mukhya Mantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, a government welfare scheme for women, has received over 1.8 crore applications within 25 days since registration began. The Nari Shakti Dut app has also witnessed 88 lakh downloads, with 650 applications submitted every minute. The scheme, entirely funded by the state government, aims to benefit 2 to 2.5 crore women and accepts applications until August 31, 2024.
