Malaysia's Good Vibes Festival organiser, Future Sound Asia, sues The 1975 for $2.4m over protest against anti-LGBTQ laws, leading to festival shutdown.

Malaysia's Good Vibes Festival organiser, Future Sound Asia, has sued The 1975 and its members for $2.4m (£1.9m) following frontman Matty Healy's protest against the country's anti-LGBTQ laws during a performance at the festival last year. The band's actions led to the festival being shut down, and the organisers claim that the band and its management were aware of the restrictions they had to follow in order to perform at the festival.
