A three-alarm fire struck East Bay Booksellers in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood early Tuesday, damaging the popular bookstore, spreading to another building, and displacing five tenants. Around 60 firefighters responded to the scene, no injuries were reported, and the fire's cause remains unknown. College Avenue between Manila and Lawton avenues was temporarily closed due to the ongoing firefighting efforts.
