Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. plans a P3.5-billion expansion in Clark, Central Luzon, set to boost Philippine exports and create 500 new jobs by Q2 2026. The new facility will increase tire output to 10 million from 9 million, with the bulk intended for export. The Department of Trade and Industry aims to encourage local raw material sourcing, with current local production covering about 50% of Yokohama's requirements.
