46-year-old inmate Michael Rosas died at Bexar County Jail on Monday after suffering a medical episode. He was found unresponsive during a face-to-face observation check and attempts to revive him by jail staff and the San Antonio Fire Department were unsuccessful. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, and the Bexar County Precinct 2 Constables Office is investigating, in accordance with the Sandra Bland Act. This is the third inmate death in Bexar County within four months.
