10,000 vulnerable UK households receive free energy-saving gadgets from Utilita before winter.
Utilita, UK energy supplier, is offering £105 worth of energy-saving gadgets (air fryers and electric blankets) free to 10,000 vulnerable low-income households before winter, complementing the Warm Home Discount scheme. Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced that winter fuel payments will only be made to those on specific benefits like Pension Credit. The Household Support Fund may provide additional support.
