Trans Mountain Corp. CEO Dawn Farrell to become board chair, succeeding retiring Bill Downe; search for new CEO initiated.

Trans Mountain Corp. CEO Dawn Farrell will become the company's board chair on September 1, succeeding retiring board chair Bill Downe. Farrell has been CEO since 2022 and contributed to the completion of the $34-billion pipeline expansion, raising the system's shipping capacity from 300,000 to 890,000 barrels of oil per day. The company is currently searching for a new CEO as part of a planned succession plan.
