Three students from Dundalk Institute of Technology, Margaret Eyong Taku, Wendy Briggs, and Christina Igweze, have launched High Court proceedings to overturn their expulsions. The students were made subject of internal disciplinary proceedings due to alleged incidents involving physical altercation on the college campus on January 30-31. They claim the college's decision is flawed and should be overturned.
