Baby Reindeer creator Richard Gadd has submitted a court declaration in support of Netflix, backing the streamer against the woman who inspired the stalker character in his hit show. Fiona Harvey is suing Netflix for $170m, claiming the show portrayed her as a convicted criminal and damaged her reputation. Gadd's court filing states that "Martha Scott is not Fiona Harvey", and that Baby Reindeer is a "dramatic work" and "emotionally true" rather than a factual account of events.
