Retail sales in Ireland fell 1.4% in June, marking a third consecutive month of decline, according to data from the Central Statistics Office. The largest monthly declines were observed in sales of clothing, footwear, and textiles (-9.7%), books, newspapers, and stationery (-5.7%), and pubs (-3.5%). However, sales of hardware, paints, and glass increased 5.3%, and electrical goods grew 2%.
