Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to its partnership with the Commonwealth. Addressing a joint press conference with Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland in Islamabad, Dar emphasized that Pakistan considers the Commonwealth as a crucial platform for forging consensus on contemporary global and regional challenges. He also highlighted the importance of the Commonwealth in addressing outstanding disputes among member states and supporting the respect of international law and the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions.
