Oregon Department of Forestry orders hand crews, medevac helicopters, and air support from National Guard to combat over 100 wildfires.
Oregon Department of Forestry has ordered four hand crews through the Oregon National Guard to combat over 100 wildfires statewide. Governor Kotek's State of Emergency Declaration allows ODF to request firefighting resources from the National Guard. In addition to the hand crews, ODF has also ordered two medevac helicopters and other air support from the National Guard.
