NJ judge denies effort to remove RFK Jr. from ballot A New Jersey judge has rejected an attempt to keep Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from running for president under the state's sore loser law. Judge Robert Lougy dismissed a case filed by attorney Scott Salmon, who sought to prevent Kennedy from appearing on the Nov. 5 presidential ballot as an independent candidate. The judge stated that the law required him to dismiss the case, but Salmon could still raise complaints to New Jersey's Secretary of State, Tahesha Way. Kennedy's campaign and Salmon did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
