Microchip Technology introduces the dsPIC33A Core, an advanced family of Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs), to enhance precision and execution of real-time control in complex embedded systems. The dsPIC33A family includes a 32-bit CPU architecture with a 200 MHz operating speed, a Double-Precision Floating-Point Unit, DSP instructions, and comprehensive development tools for efficient motor control, power supply, charging, and sensing systems. The new DSCs feature high-performance and precise real-time control, 40Msample/s 12bit ADCs, 5ns comparators, 100MHz operational amplifiers, 2.5ns PWMs, and a BiSS industrial interface.
