3 Jewish women challenge Kentucky's abortion ban on religious grounds, but face standing issues in court.

Lisa Sobel, one of three Jewish women challenging Kentucky's abortion ban on religious grounds, believes any Kentuckian with a uterus should have standing to challenge the state's abortion ban. However, the Kentucky Supreme Court and a judge in Louisville disagree. Sobel, whose lawsuit is the second challenge to Kentucky's abortion ban to be hindered by the issue of standing, is left in a "holding pattern" as she fears risking having another child in a state where physicians must wait until a patient is at risk of dying to terminate a pregnancy.
