Japan Fair Trade Commission investigates Harley-Davidson Japan for alleged forced sales and quota violations.

Harley-Davidson Japan is under investigation by the Japan Fair Trade Commission for allegedly forcing dealerships to buy motorcycles to meet sales quotas, potentially violating the Anti-Monopoly Law. The company allegedly set high sales targets and threatened to not renew contracts if they were not met. Dealerships who failed to sell the required number of motorcycles were forced to buy the remaining ones at their own expense.
